Fact Check Team: Watchdog raises questions on Chinese nationals’ role in US universities

A new report from a conservative watchdog group is renewing scrutiny around Chinese nationals working inside U.S. universities and federally funded research institutions, raising broader questions about national security risk and oversight.

The report, first reported by Just the News, was produced by theAmerican Accountability Foundation (AAF). It identifies 21 Chinese academics who are currently or were recently affiliated with U.S. universities and national laboratories, arguing that their backgrounds and research portfolios warrant closer government scrutiny.
